Waterford, C.T. - The Union College women's cross-country team posted strong times to place 20th out of 25 represented schools in the Mideast regional championship, held at Connecticut College. The youthful team with just two seniors, two first-years, and three sophomores, had four runners with all-time personal bests for 6k today. The 6k course was rain-soaked and windy, posing problems for many athletes as they battled to stay on their feet around slippery corners.
